Lemon Loaf

Cream butter, sugar, add eggs one at a time:
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs


Add flour mix and milk alternately to above mixture:
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 c milk
Add 2 tsp lemon rind


Bake 1 hr. at 350’F

Mix 1/4 c sugar and
Juice from 2 1/2 lemons and pour over hot loaf

Best Stew EVER!

 

This stew is Sooo good!

It comes to us from Melissa Prien who stumbled on it totally by accident! (Thank goodness)

 

Ingredients:

3 cans garlic, basil fire roasted canned tomatoes.

2 cans black beans (drained)

2 cans kidney beans (drained)

4 red potatoes

1 onion chopped

8 chicken apple sausages (they come 4 to a pack usually.. so two packs) cut to bite size.

Couple of tablespoons of garlic.

Pepper to taste.

That’s it!

If you have a pressure cooker, throw it all in for about 20 min.

If not, put in slow cooker or in pot on stove and cook.

When done cooking, add about 2 C. of frozen vegies of your choice. Allow to cook through. (about 10 more min.).
